“La Custode”

In the painting, the geometry of the squares unfolds like an ancient domus de janas, the “fairy houses” of Sardinia, places symbolic of rebirth, the uninterrupted passage between life and death.
According to tradition, in these dwellings, fairies watched over children’s dreams, spun life, and guarded the mystery of rebirth. The central figure is a divine creature, the custodian of ancient knowledge.
With her light step and wings of light, she weaves the threads that unite earth and sky, body and soul, memory and dream.
She understands that the greatest strength lies not in dominating, but in reconnecting, in holding together what seems distant. In the silence of color and form, The Guardian invites us to cross the threshold of the visible, to recognize ourselves.
