“Contrasti”

Two hands emerge from a fractured surface, as if breaking a boundary, reclaiming space and breathing space. The silvery cracks, luminous and irregular, symbolize a wound that becomes light, a material that, though scarred, opens to redemption. The work speaks of the reconquest of dignity, of the moment when fragility transforms into strength and silence into gesture. Between the deep black and the silver, a universal human tension unfolds: that of those who, even through fracture, choose to be reborn.
The work was featured in the “Human rights? #Dignity” event in Rovereto (TN) in 2024.
